The challenge

The client needed a comprehensive condition assessment of a large office headquarters — inside and out — to plan remediation and inform ongoing management. The traditional route would have meant multiple surveyor visits, scattered photo sets, and a report that starts going stale the day it is issued.

Our approach

We captured the entire building digitally and reported every defect through a bespoke virtual platform, shared directly with the client’s chartered surveyors. Rather than describing defects in a document, each one was tagged in place within a complete virtual model of the building’s interior and exterior — locatable, photographed and categorised.

What we delivered

• Full internal and external condition capture of the 9,750 m² building
• A bespoke virtual platform hosting the complete defect record
• Every defect tagged in a navigable 360° model for efficient referencing
• Client access throughout — no waiting for a final report

The outcome

Repeat site visits by the surveying team were sharply reduced — questions were answered in the model, not on site. The client now holds a single, reliable source of truth for remediation planning and ongoing decision-making, centrally hosted and available to every stakeholder.
